Janitor (Sanitation Specialist)A Janitor is a professional who is a vital part of any business. They are responsible for maintaining a clean and healthy facility by completing various tasks. This can include mopping & vacuuming floors, disinfecting surfaces and restrooms and emptying trash and recycling cans. The goal is to keep our building in a clean and orderly condition.Janitor responsibilities include:Cleaning and supplying designated building areasPerforming and documenting routine inspection and maintenance activitiesCarrying out heavy cleansing tasks and special projectsResponsibilities:Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, etc)Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activitiesCarry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projectsNotify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairsMake adjustments and minor repairsStock and maintain supply roomsCooperate with the rest of the staffFollow all health and safety regulationsRequirements and skills:Proven working experience as a JanitorAbility to handle heavy equipment and machineryKnowledge of cleaning chemicals and suppliesFamiliarity with Material Safety Data SheetsIntegrity and ability to work independentlyHigh school degreePlease DO NOT CALL for application status updates.
