Property Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Property Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial real estate accounting and will be responsible for managing the financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close for a portfolio of commercial properties. Responsibilities Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations Complete month-end and year-end closing activities Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audit requests Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies Additional responsibilities as needed Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred Minimum of 3 years of commercial real estate property accounting experience (required) Commercial real estate experience is required. Residential property accounting experience alone will not be considered. Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and financial reporting Proficiency with Yardi or similar property accounting software Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
