POSITION: Zoning Research Specialist
FULLTIME: ASAP - 9/25/2026 Assignment
LOCATION: Norman, OK
SCHEDULE: M-Th onsite, Fridays remote
PAY RANGE: $16/HR
(Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Base pay information is based on market location.)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The zoning team oversees one or more projects on an ongoing and regular basis. Individually, or as part of a team, responsible for zoning requests and tracking, and follow up. Coordinating with other teammates.

What You'll Do

• Update logs, database, and files
• Prepares check requests
• Performs research as required for projects and follows up on requested projects
• Requests information and documents from the applicable municipality, following up on requests and clarifying conformation information when necessary
• Obtains current zoning and pulling applicable code sections from municipality zoning ordinances

• Oral communication skills sufficient to gather information and relay project information to team members.
• Written communication skills sufficient to create project plans and other project documentation.

Typical Education
? AA preferred or equivalent experience.
Typical Range of Experience
? Employees entering this job typically have 2+ years of experience in an advanced administrative function.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels, such as from office equipment.
• The ability to lift up to 30lbs
• Use of computers and technology
