The Payroll Specialist is responsible for supporting payroll processing and related administrative tasks across multiple departments and entities. This role ensures timely and accurate payroll submissions, maintains payroll records, and provides assistance with reporting, audits, and employee inquiries. Duties include processing and verifying payroll data, maintaining payroll records, updating employee information, tracking payroll deadlines, assisting with payroll-related reporting and reconciliations, responding to employee questions, supporting audits, ensuring compliance with payroll regulations, and protecting sensitive payroll data.

Qualifications include three years of experience in payroll administration, accounting, or a related field, or a combination of education and experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with college coursework in accounting, HR, or finance preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic knowledge of Word are necessary. Familiarity with payroll software and timekeeping systems is preferred. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, effective communication, and integrity in handling confidential information are essential.
