Principal Contract Administrator

Job Description BAE Systems is looking for a Contracts Administrator to administer large and complex contracts, programs and proposal efforts. This position will act as a point of contact between the company and MARMC Negotiator, Contracting Officer, and Project personnel for proposal preparation, interpretation of contracts/specifications and negotiation of change orders. This position will also monitor the contract's performance and submit reports and recommendations to management. Responsibilities Replicate and submit required reports and correspondence. Maintain daily dialogue with company and customer activities to address and resolve contract matters. Review, administer and negotiate change orders with customers. Provide functional expertise to Program Managers and Maintenance Teams in support of assigned programs. Administer and submit cost proposals. Initiate recommendations to management to minimize contractual risk and maximize program performance. Required Education, Experience & Skills Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of relevant experience or HS Diploma and 10 years of relevant working experience. Cradle to grave contracting experience. Extensive working knowledge of FAR/DFAR. Critical attention to detail with financial acumen. Experience with various contract structures, terms & conditions, proposal preparation and execution. Experience briefing senior level management. Preferred Education, Experience & Skills Experience with Firm‑Fixed Price, Cost Reimbursement and Hybrid contracts. Ship repair experience. Pay Information Full‑time salary range: $92,180 – $156,707.
