What you’ll own On-device SLMs — fine-tuning, quantization, edge inference on consumer hardware Vision + multimodal — Turning visual inputs into valuable notes. OCR — Extracting handwritten prescriptions, labels, monitor readings, from running video stream Languages — Multilingual and the code‑switched way clinicians actually talk Team — hire and lead engineering across US and India Who we want A 100x engineer. Hands-on with SLM fine-tuning, quantization, and edge deployment – models that run on real devices, not just notebooks Strong computer vision or multimodal background Experience at a frontier AI lab (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google DeepMind, Meta AI) or shipping models at comparable scale is highly valued Healthcare experience welcome, not required – AI depth matters more An existing network with investors is a strong plus You move fast, hold strong opinions, and want your work to matter Compensation $250k annual + founding-level equity.
