Working in accordance with established policies and procedures, code of Maryland regulations, the nurse practice act, and the Maryland board of nursing, providing care and services as the registered nurse. The registered nurse will develop, manage, and monitor an efficient health suite which includes: administration and supervision of medication; emergency assessment and triage of care as needed; coordination of routine medical and dental care; staff orientation and training; health education for youth; and assistance to health care providers.

Everstand is an independent not-for-profit organization that serves over 1,000 children annually across 12 locations. You would join about 800 teammates across DC, MD, PA, and WV that empower youth and their families to flourish within their community.

This is a part-time, in-person position. Baltimore, Maryland campus.

The hours may vary depending on shift. Shift information is provided by the charge nurse. This position may require flexible work hours to include mandatory overtime, on-site and off-site attendance at meetings. This position is essential during inclement weather.

Available shifts: Rotating weekends (every other Saturday and Sunday) 8:30 AM – 9:00 PM, including a 30-minute lunch break

Required education and experience:

• Diploma, associates, or bachelor of science degree in nursing
• Possession of an active registered nurse license without disciplinary infractions by Maryland board of nursing
• Two (2) years of nursing experience preferably in a pediatric office, group home setting, and/or residential treatment center.

Other job requirements:

• This position requires you to drive Everstand vehicles. Must have a valid, active, driver's license with less than 7 points.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Ability to provide supporting documentation of COVID vaccination records or proper documentation in lieu of.
