This role is responsible for identifying payment solution opportunities, expanding Business Essentials relationships, and serving as a trusted resource for branch-referred clients.The ideal candidate is a proactive sales professional who enjoys building relationships, uncovering client needs, and delivering consultative payment solutions in a fast-paced environment.**Should be located within a commutable distance to Tempe, AZ office location** **Client Engagement & Sales*** **Conduct outbound calls to prospective and existing small business clients to identify payment and business solution opportunities.*** Provide consultative recommendations based on customer needs and business goals.* **Respond to inbound calls and branch referrals with timely and professional support.*** Upsell Business Essentials products and deepen existing customer relationships.* Manage objections, follow-up activities, and sales opportunities throughout the client lifecycle.**Branch Partnership*** Serve as a virtual extension of branch teams by supporting overflow referrals and client outreach.* Partner with branch colleagues to deliver a seamless and consistent customer experience.**Sales & Pipeline Management*** Maintain accurate activity, pipeline, and customer records within CRM systems.* Meet or exceed sales, activity, and customer experience goals.* Share customer insights and feedback to support continuous improvement. **Key Qualifications*** 2+ years of experience in sales, payments, or financial services—preferably in a virtual or hybrid environment.* Strong understanding of small business needs and digital payment solutions.* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.* Comfortable making outbound calls and handling inbound inquiries in a high-volume setting.* Proficient in CRM systems.**Basic Qualifications*** **Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience*** **Typically two to three years of relevant experience****Preferred Qualifications*** Experience working with businesses under $2.5MM in revenue.* Background in merchant services, business banking, or fintech.* Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.**Location Expectations**This role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, with an expectation of 3 or more days per week in office and flexibility to work remotely on remaining days.If there’s anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our disability accommodations for applicants.**Benefits:**Our approach to benefits and total rewards considers our team members’ whole selves and what may be needed to thrive in and outside work.
