Account Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member

TJ Larson - State Farm Agent is looking for a motivated, competitive professional to join our Farmington team.

This is a true sales position Your job is to turn agency-provided leads and prospective customers into new State Farm households by starting conversations, identifying needs, presenting insurance options, following up consistently, and asking for the business.

This is a full-time, in-person position in Farmington, MN Insurance experience is not required . Successful sales experience in another industry is valuable, and the agency pays your insurance licensing costs upfront.

Compensation

• Starting base salary: $38,000-$45,000 , based on experience and qualifications
• Realistic total compensation: $62,000-$85,000+
• Uncapped commissions
• Agency-funded leads

We invest in multiple lead sources, including internet leads, inbound calls, State Farm-generated opportunities, digital advertising, live transfers and customer referrals.

We provide the opportunities. You provide the activity, persistence and follow-up needed to turn them into customers

This is a high-activity sales environment. Successful team members are comfortable spending significant time on the phone and consistently generating new opportunities. Daily activity may include 75-100 outbound calls or generating at least four new household Auto/Home quote opportunities

What You'll Do

Generate & Close New Business

• Work agency-provided internet leads, inbound opportunities, live transfers and referrals
• Make outbound calls and consistently follow up with prospects
• Generate new Auto and Home quote opportunities
• Ask questions to understand each prospect's insurance needs
• Present appropriate Auto, Home, Life and Health-related insurance options
• Confidently work through questions and objections and ask for the sale
• Maintain an organized pipeline and follow-up schedule
• Develop referrals from new and existing customers

You must be able to obtain a Minnesota Property & Casualty Insurance License and Life & Health Insurance License. The agency pays licensing costs upfront

We provide multiple sources of leads and opportunities, but success requires consistent activity, follow-up and production across multiple insurance lines.


Your primary job is selling, not servicing a book of business After you bring a customer into the agency and complete the initial onboarding process, our customer service team handles the ongoing service so you can remain focused on generating and closing new business.

Compensation: $62,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
