Technician: Master Certified - North Austin Nissan

North Austin Nissan is the first open point dealership in company history for Continental Automotive Group! Come join us in marking a major step toward our company's long-term vision of growth.This individual will be onboarded and complete training at our First Texas Honda dealership and then move to North Austin Nissan once the store opens on June 1st!We are always on the hunt for a Master Technician superstar! Master Technicians are responsible for acting as a consultant for diagnostic work, vehicle repairs, and procedures. Master Technicians also provide leadership and direction to other members of the Service Department.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Must have held a valid driver's license for at least 1 yearMust be at least 18 years of age to be consideredResponsible for maintaining all manufacturer self-studiesDiagnose and repair vehicles accurately and within a reasonable time framePerform advanced removal and replacement diagnostic work on Nissan vehiclesOversee and signing off on repairs completed by other techniciansRequired to hold a valid State Inspector's licenseOffer training and guidance to other techniciansMust be able to lift at least 50 poundsMust demonstrate utmost care for all vehicle repairs performedShop Hours:Flexibility in scheduling within the hours of 7:00 am - 6:00 pm Monday through SaturdayCompensation is based on experience:ASE Master Techs starting at $34.00 flat rateNissan Certified Master Techs starting at $34.00 flat ratePotential to earn up to $55 per flat rate with all certifications and production bonuses$10,000 sign-on bonusNot eligible for transfers or rehires. Paid over the first year of employment.
