Respiratory Therapist (RT)

Job Summary Up to $20,000 sign‑on bonus based on eligibility. Provides respiratory care to patients, completes established competencies within the designated introductory period, and performs other related duties as assigned. Responsibilities Performs all aspects of respiratory care, including diagnostic testing of the cardio‑pulmonary system, and performs quality control on all respiratory care equipment, including blood gas analyzers. Qualifications Education: Graduate of an AMA‑accredited respiratory care program. Massachusetts: must graduate from a COARC‑approved program (or successor), be eligible to sit for the CRT/RRT exam and hold a temporary license issued by the State of Massachusetts. Work experience may NOT substitute for the minimum education requirement. Experience: Preferred prior experience. Certifications: Required: RCP or equivalent state licensure; AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, NRP (if serves neonatal). Preferred: RRT. Massachusetts: required AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, AHA PALS, NRP (if serves neonatal); and a state respiratory therapy license and either LRT, CRT, or RRT required upon hire.
