Senior Associate Business Intelligence Analyst

About the Role McKesson is seeking a Senior Associate Business Intelligence Analyst with 340B data experience to support organizational readiness, performance, client management, and the overall success of services. In this role you will lead data quality checks, complex analyses, ad‑hoc requests, and development of reporting solutions. Key Responsibilities Produce and transmit recurring reports for clients, including 340B third‑party administrators. Partner with Business Development, Implementation, and Development teams to create and modify data reports. Support the execution of core analytics and develop new analytics, reporting, and visualizations to answer emerging questions. Provide reconciliation of data issues arising from gaps in quality checks. Write queries for internal ad‑hoc data requests. Leverage new and emerging technologies, including AI, to automate data analysis, reporting, and quality‑assurance tasks, improving efficiency, accuracy, and value for clients and stakeholders. Assist with data production for client and prospective client presentations. Understand the landscape of available data sources and ensure data alignment with internal systems. Take lead roles in large, complex, or cross‑functional projects, managing the Market and Business Intelligence team’s role with other stakeholders. Collaborate with, develop, and train less‑experienced teammates on technical or operational issues to deliver quality work on time. Engage with clients on highly complex or escalated requests. Develop and write documentation for departmental processes. Drive innovation by searching for and evaluating new tools, processes, and ways of thinking about data. Translate business questions using an analytics framework to determine the appropriate analytics plan and recommendations from analysis. Understand the logic behind standard reporting with the ability to recreate, modify, and implement new reporting as required. Partner with internal team members to deliver on projects as needed. Qualifications Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience. 4‑year degree or equivalent experience in Business, Finance, Analytics, or Health Care related field. Experience in data analysis. Proficiency with SQL query tools and thorough understanding of SQL methods to query datasets of varying sizes. Fluency with data‑visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and SSRS. 2+ years of healthcare experience preferred; 340B data experience or understanding preferred. Knowledge of SQL and Power BI required. Python or similar scripting exposure preferred. Demonstrated interest in and experience with AI, machine learning, or automation tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Python AI libraries) highly preferred. Comfortable experimenting with and adopting AI solutions to solve business problems and improve workflows. Strong attention to detail. Ability to prioritize competing projects effectively. Highly collaborative individual capable of navigating a matrixed environment. Proactive and independent learning and utilization of new technology, concepts, and procedures as appropriate. Maintains current knowledge of industry technology trends. Experience working in a virtual team‑based environment. Flexible positive attitude and hunger to solve problems and grow within the organization. Ability to communicate key findings (written, presentational, and verbal) in a concise and actionable manner. Compensation Base Pay Range: $68,800 - $114,600. Compensation includes potential annual bonus and long‑term incentive opportunities in addition to the base pay.
