Building Maintenance Technician

Our client, a leading organization in building management, is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Building Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Facilities Support Department supporting the maintenance and safety of office buildings. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Building Maintenance Technician

Location: Columbus, OH

Pay Range: $23 to $25 per hour

What's the Job?

• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building systems
• Respond to maintenance requests and perform repairs in a timely and efficient manner
• Inspect building and premises for safety hazards and perform necessary maintenance to eliminate such hazards
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance

What's Needed?

• 5-7 years of experience in building maintenance or a related field
• Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools
• Basic understanding of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Ability to diagnose issues and perform repairs independently
• Good communication and customer service skills
