Litigation Paralegal

Job description

Raleigh based law firm seeking experienced paralegal for our litigation team.

The ideal candidate will have the listed qualifications:

· Minimum of 3-5 years of paralegal experience

· Proficiency in applying the court rules and procedures in both state and federal courts

· Proficiency in utilizing eCourts and PACER for electronic filing, case management and retrieval of court documents

· Proficiency in viewing and organizing medical records, and other case related documents in a litigation support software environment 

· Proficiency in viewing, annotating, and organizing documents in a litigation support software environment

· Well-developed writing and research skills

· Experience drafting pleadings, discovery and routine correspondence

· The ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people

· The ability to anticipate attorney needs, identifying problems and finding solutions

· Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize workload
