This role involves configuring and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure, supporting mission-critical operations, and collaborating across engineering teams to ensure scalable and reliable connectivity.What You'll DoDesign, configure, integrate, test, and support secure network solutionsDeploy and maintain switches, routers, firewalls, and boundary devicesOptimize network performance, throughput, scalability, and reliabilityMonitor and troubleshoot network issues using tools such as WhatsUpGold and NetFlowSupport WAN/LAN architectures and high-speed network topologiesCollaborate with systems engineering and cross-functional teams to define and implement requirementsAnalyze network traffic and develop firewall rule setsSupport security planning, risk analysis, and implementation of secure architecturesValidate network dataflows, interfaces, and security device configurationsProvide technical guidance to junior engineers and support large-scale engineering effortsCore SkillsBachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field Additional network engineering experience may substitute for degree requirements5+ years of experience supporting complex network engineering programs or contractsExperience configuring and troubleshooting switches, routers, and firewallsExperience with network monitoring and analysis tools including WhatsUpGold and NetFlowKnowledge of secure network design and boundary protection solutionsExperience optimizing network performance and minimizing latencyStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in enterprise network environmentsNice to HaveExperience with DCID 6/3 and/or ICD 503 compliance frameworksExperience with Computer Network Operations and PL3 high/high solutionsFamiliarity with Layer 2–7 networking technologiesExperience integrating boundary/security solutions into customer environmentsExperience with RF communications solutions and WAN test equipmentPrior experience leading technical teams or large engineering effortsCLEARANCE REQUIRED:TS/SCI w/ PolygraphOther Requirements:U.S. CitizenshipCompensation Spotlight:For this role, our typical salary range starts at $130,000 and stretches up to $250,000.
