About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer to join their team. The CFO will be responsible for the financial activities of the corporation, including the preparation of financial reports, and summaries, and forecasts for future growth. This role also involves overseeing the accounting and finance department, budget preparation, and audit functions, and working with other department heads to monitor and make recommendations on financial results. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related area, with a graduate degree or CPA preferred, and at least 10 years of experience in banking, accounting, or a similar financial-related field, particularly in a highly regulated environment. Key responsibilities for the CFO include managing the asset/liability profile, supervising the budgeting process, leading liquidity risk management, and generating and supervising various financial reports. The successful candidate will also be involved in the preparation of regulatory reports, analyzing the loan portfolio, and monitoring insurance policies. Additionally, the CFO will be expected to draft and review financial management policies, assist in financial communications, and analyze the bank's profitability. The role requires a professional with a strong background in financial management, excellent decision-making skills, and the ability to supervise and lead a team. Proficiency in financial analysis, particularly with MS Excel, and experience with FDIC and other regulatory exams are essential.
