Order Support Specialist / Admin

Job Description Our client is seeking a detail oriented Order Entry Specialist to join its Operations team during a critical seasonal period. This role will support the accurate processing of customer orders received through multiple channels, including email, mail, fax, and online submissions. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast paced administrative environment, enjoys working with data, and possesses strong keyboarding and organizational skills. This individual will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently while supporting the overall customer experience. Job Duties Accurately enter customer orders received through: Email Mail Fax Internet/online channels Review orders for completeness and accuracy before entry. Maintain high levels of speed and accuracy while processing daily order volumes. Enter and update customer information within Microsoft Dynamics and internal systems. Research & Problem Resolution Investigate missing or incomplete information needed for order fulfillment. Resolve order discrepancies and identify data errors before orders are processed. Maintain orders placed on hold and proactively work toward resolution. Customer Communication Follow up with customers regarding: Missing information Order clarifications Order completion requirements Communicate primarily through email with occasional phone outreach. Provide professional customer service and timely responses. Administrative Support Process incoming mail and supporting documentation. Maintain records and documentation related to customer orders. Communicate customer feedback to appropriate internal teams. Support additional operational tasks as assigned. Qualifications 1+ years of administrative, customer service, order entry, data entry, call center support, or office support experience. Experience working in a high volume transaction processing environment preferred. Basic computer proficiency. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Strong data entry and keyboarding skills. Ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously. Experience with ERP or CRM systems is a plus. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rolling Meadows, IL. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
