Role Summary: We are looking for a passionate Solution Architect (Pre-Sales) to join our Commercial & Solution team at Billennium. You’ll play a key role in delivering tailored B2B IT solutions aligned with client needs across software development projects, products, and services. In this role, you will act as a bridge between business and technology — shaping solution concepts, supporting the sales process, and designing scalable, high-quality architectures with a strong focus on software development. You will collaborate closely with sales, delivery, and engineering teams to create compelling, value-driven solutions that address real client challenges. What you will do: Analyze client business needs and translate them into high-level solution concepts with a strong software development focus. Design end-to-end solution architectures aligned with client expectations, business goals, and Billennium’s capabilities. Support the sales process by contributing to proposals, presentations, estimations, and technical discussions with clients. Act as a trusted advisor during pre-sales engagements, working closely with Sales, Client Executives, and technical teams. Collaborate with engineering teams to refine and validate solution designs, ensuring feasibility and scalability. Participate in bid processes, including solution costing, structuring offers, and aligning technical and commercial aspects. Ensure smooth handover of designed solutions to delivery teams, supporting transition and implementation phases. Requirements: Proven experience (5+ years) as a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or senior technical expert in a pre-sales or delivery environment. Strong background in software development and application architecture, including modern development practices and design patterns. Broad understanding of technology domains, including application development, cloud environments, data platforms, and integration. Experience in designing scalable, secure, and maintainable systems across distributed architectures and modern platforms. Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for non-technical stakeholders. Strong communication and presentation skills, with experience working with clients and supporting sales processes. Fluent English (C1 or higher) and a proactive, solution-oriented, and collaborative mindset. Nice to Have Qualifications: Experience in pre-sales, bid management, or supporting complex IT deals and proposals. Familiarity with agile methodologies and modern software delivery models (e.g. DevOps, CI/CD, cloud-native approaches). Exposure to AI, data-driven solutions, or advanced analytics use cases. Experience working with enterprise clients, ideally in regulated industries or complex environments. Knowledge of commercial aspects of solutioning, including pricing, estimation, and cost optimization. Project diversity – opportunity to work with global clients across sectors and technologies.
