PSC Site Coordinator

Position: Phlebotomist Site Coordinator Location: 2690 Pacific Avenue, Suite 330, Long Beach, CA 90806. Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:15 a.m. – 4:15 p.m., with rotating Saturdays. Job Responsibilities Observe and report any performance, compliance or staffing related issues to supervisors. Manage and monitor patient flow, wait times, inventory levels and information logs. Monitor monthly productivity reports and report any deviations as necessary. Address any customer service-related issues in a prompt and respectful manner. Promote teamwork, cohesiveness and effective communication among coworkers. Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications 2 years or more of experience as phlebotomist. California state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT). Preferred Qualifications Associate degree. 3 years or more of experience as phlebotomist. 2 years or more of experience in a supervisory role. Bilingual with proficiency in Spanish and English. Additional Job Standards In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the CA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement. Experience managing workflow in a patient-centered environment (1 year or more). Phlebotomist experience with pediatric patients. Knowledge of phlebotomy procedures, techniques, and role responsibilities. Able to pass a standardized color blindness test. Be at least 21 years of age and have a clean driving record. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Exceptional customer service. Pay Range $23.00 - $40.13 per hour. Benefits Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), paid time off or flexible time off, tuition reimbursement, and employee stock purchase plan. Employees scheduled for fewer than 20 hours, or casual, intern, and temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan. Employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all benefits except paid time off or flexible time off. Quarterly incentive bonus program is also available for PSC Site Coordinators based on performance metrics.
