Senior Accountant

Description

The Senior Accountant at Abaris Real Estate Management is responsible for managing the financial operations of assigned condominium and association accounts. This includes monthly financial reporting, bank reconciliations, budget preparation, audits, tax coordination, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and governing documents.

The Senior Accountant provides accurate and timely financial information to property managers and Boards to support effective decision-making. This role oversees reconciliation processes, financial statements, and accounting controls while managing multiple associations and maintaining a high level of accuracy and accountability.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities while consistently meeting deadlines and maintaining accurate financial records.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of accounting or financial reporting experience is preferred; CPA is a plus.
• Experience with HOA, condominium, or property management accounting strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statement preparation.
• Proficiency in accounting and property management systems (Vantaca or similar platforms preferred).
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple associations and reporting deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills when working with Property Managers, Boards, auditors, and internal teams.
