Project Associate

This role is a 6‑month Hybrid contract with InterSources Inc, based in San Mateo, CA. The position requires onsite work 6 days per month (Tues‑Thu of weeks 2 and 4). Travel costs are not reimbursed. Base pay range $50.00/hr - $75.00/hr Equipment Provided Yes – laptop/monitor. Summary The technical coordinator will arrange meetings, track work, and document findings for Health Data Services. They ensure the Director of Health Data Services is informed about ongoing projects and that staff are aware of decisions made in meetings. Duties Create work structures, policies, and procedures. Develop forms and work trackers. Manage staff deliverables. Manage vendor relationships. Train staff. Business Need The goal is to support a well‑functioning team by creating structures that enable work to scale and enhance customer communication. The Data team has numerous small technical projects that require coordination and reporting to operational users. Once tools are developed, the need for a coordinator will diminish. Requirements At least 2 years of project coordinator experience. Preference for experience in Healthcare, Government, or County Health Care. Qualifications Must be self‑driven and able to produce from minimal direction. Proficient in English and basic project principles. Experience with PMI or PMP terminology and data engineering is a bonus. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Advanced Excel; MS Project or Smartsheet; SharePoint; MS Teams.
