Key Responsibilities Conduct individual counseling sessions with clients via secure video chat, fostering a safe space for them to express their thoughts and feelings. Encourage clients to delve into their emotions and life experiences, providing insights that promote self-discovery and personal growth. Act as an advocate for clients, helping them to set and achieve personal mental health goals while navigating challenges effectively. Thoroughly evaluate clients' mental health conditions by using evidence-based assessment tools, crafting personalized treatment plans tailored to their needs. Utilize a solution-focused approach grounded in your clinical expertise to drive therapeutic progress and outcomes. Patient Population / Client Focus You will primarily work with a population of carefully screened clients, consisting of stable adults with low acuity mental health concerns. Our rigorous vetting process ensures that you will only interact with clients who are well-suited to your skills and therapeutic style. Qualifications A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy is required. Must hold a valid and unrestricted license to practice independently in New York State, which includes one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Strong interpersonal skills and a sympathetic nature are essential for building rapport and trust with clients. Proficiency in using digital tools for telehealth, with a focus on maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Preferred Experience Experience in providing teletherapy or remote counseling is preferred, as it will enable you to adapt quickly to our platform. A background in working with diverse populations will enhance your effectiveness in addressing varied client needs. Demonstrated success in developing and implementing effective treatment plans that yield measurable outcomes. Compensation and Benefits At Conviva Care Counseling Center, we offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
