Pay: $26/hr | Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (1‑hour lunch)

BG Staffing is seeking a skilled and dependable Certified Maintenance Technician to support an apartment community in Birmingham, AL (35233) . This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise who takes pride in delivering high‑quality maintenance work and excellent service to residents.

• Pay: $26/hr
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM (1‑hour lunch)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Opportunity Type: Contract‑to‑Hire

• Complete work orders efficiently and professionally
• Perform skilled maintenance tasks, including:
  • HVAC troubleshooting and repair (EPA certification required)
  • Electrical repairs
  • Plumbing repairs
  • Appliance diagnostics and repair
  • Carpentry and general maintenance
• Assist with unit turns and make‑ready preparation
• Maintain community grounds, common areas, and amenities
• Respond to resident requests with a friendly, professional attitude
• Ensure all work meets safety, compliance, and quality standards

• EPA or HVAC certification required
• Previous apartment maintenance experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of general and advanced maintenance functions
• Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently
• Reliable, punctual, and detail‑oriented
• Strong communication and customer service skills
