Description:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse is needed.
The assignment length is 13 weeks.
The start date is as soon as possible.
The shift is 3x12 nights.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience.
Call is limited to coverage for any call-offs only.
Weekend work is required.
Travelers may float within the scope to meet facility needs, if needed.
Block scheduling is not accommodated.
Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility.
Pending licenses are accepted, but the license must be in hand for employment offer.
Requests for time off will be approved on an individual basis upon offer.
All requests for time off must be included in submission.
Guaranteed hours are 60 hours per 2 weeks, and the traveler may be called off for 1, 12-hour shift per 2 weeks.
The facility is an acute hospital with Magnet recognition and Level II Trauma status.
It has a total of 407 staffed beds.
Charting is done using a specific electronic health record system.
Submitters must comply with all required documentation and qualifications for submission.
Two references must be provided that cover one year within the last three years during the compliance process and prior to start.
Travelers must be willing to work two out of the three major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.
Travelers can only work for a maximum of one calendar year in their assignment.
Travelers are required to take a minimum six-month break before returning for another assignment at the same facility.
Vaccination records will be required as part of the compliance process.
Housing options should be considered by travelers as options may be limited.
Modules are non-billable, and a specific number of hours will be spent on compliance modules.
Time spent on modules is self-reported.
