The Restaurant Line Cook will play a crucial role in preparing and cooking American and Italian cuisine within a dynamic kitchen team of 4-6 members. This position requires dedication to high standards of food quality, sanitation, and efficiency, with responsibilities spanning both opening and closing duties. Minimal interaction with front-of-house staff is expected, allowing the cook to focus on delivering excellent culinary results. Occasional opportunities for career advancement are available within the kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and cook menu items to order
• Plate dishes artistically ensuring quality and presentation
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and workstations
• Ensure quality control of all prepared meals
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Replenish stock and supplies as needed
• Perform opening and closing kitchen duties

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in restaurant kitchen operations

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of food safety practices
• Proficient knife skills
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Compliance with sanitation regulations
• Strong teamwork abilities
