About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ED/Trauma Duration: 14 weeks Shift: 3rd 12-hour nights, every 3rd to 4th weekend Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Requires charge/triage experience and clinical competence in care management of target patient populations. License: Current state Registered Nurse License or Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact. Certifications: - American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent. - American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). - Trauma Nurse Course Certification (TNCC). - American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within one year of hire. Must-Have: - Clinical competence and experience in nursing. - Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice. Description: The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment. This individual demonstrates competency in the delivery of care primarily to an adult population. The role requires appropriate application of nursing theory and practice as outlined by the Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice, 2nd Edition. Candidates must possess robust clinical skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. Charge and triage experience is essential for this position.
