We're a small business with big dreams and we are looking for people who want to join us on this mission...because Mackey's Grows.Mackey's is a fast paced retail environment that involves continuous interaction with customers, team members, and the ongoing evolution of the store. Responsibilities require active movements that include reaching, bending, and lifting. Product weights range from 5 – 60 lbs., with occasional variances due to product condition. Seasonality of the business and corresponding product offerings involves the exposure to varying temperatures and allergens. Environment requires spending a prolonged period of time on her or his feet, standing or walking, continuously between breaks.What abilities I must have:Problem solver who is able to resourcefully overcome challenges.Leadership qualities such as leading by example and supporting the success of team members.Exhibit organization and prioritization skills to complete deliverables within deadlines while managing intermittent requests and interruptions.Recognize and seek opportunities to learn more about products and processes to enhance Mackey's customer experience.Properly handle, maintain, and store merchandise to ensure product integrity and safety for customers and team members.Proficient in Windows based software including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)Maintain teamwork and diversity awareness by having an inclusive approach to working with customers and team members.What will make me a standout candidate:Customer service, cashier, accounting office and/or service desk experience, particularly in a retail settingWrite and speak clearly, concisely and with tact in a variety of settings using effective communication skills; demonstrating empathy and respect for others at all timesExperience leading a team or project.Experience working in a bank or accounting firmExperience handling large sums of cash or other tenderMust be 18 years or older.
