Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years required License: Active state RN license required prior to start date Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Travelers will float between two campuses covering five ICU specialties. RNs will float to step-down units as needed, including a pulmonary step-down unit with ratios of 1:3. Must have experience managing arterial lines, ventilated patients, and central line care/management. Candidates should be proficient in the interpretation and management of dysrhythmias. Description: This position requires the ability to float between units as necessary to meet facility needs. RNs will be part of a float pool catering to multiple specialties. The daily patient ratios are 1-2 during the day and 1-2 at night. The ICU features various critical care and step-down units. Candidates must be open to providing generalist care without a specific specialty requirement. Travel experience is preferred along with proficiency in critical procedures. Float requirements will include occasional weekend shifts. Pre-approved time off requests will be considered for vacations.
