Title Officer Opportunity

We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have a Title Officer opportunity with a national settlement company. The Title Officer is responsible for handling a large volume of files for commercial and residential files. The Title Officer is responsible for the specific duties listed below. Your specific duties will include:

• Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, attorneys, and sales representatives regarding commercial and residential underwriting matters.
• Reviewing title insurance products, including commitments, pro formas, policies, and endorsements, with support from the in-house legal team or agency counsel, as needed.
• Working with buyers, sellers, and lenders to clear title issues and facilitate the successful closing of Arizona transactions.
• Assisting coordinators with the preparation of invoices for Arizona transactions.
• Collaborating with sales representatives regarding business generated through the Arizona office.
• Working closely with local and/or agency counsel on complex underwriting matters and high-liability approvals.
• Monitoring critical underwriting deadlines and ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding items.
• Reviewing executed documents for recording and post-closing compliance.
• Identifying title defects and working with clients, in-house counsel, and/or agency counsel to determine insurability and resolve title issues.

Required qualifications for the position include:

• Strong knowledge of title insurance and underwriting practices.
• Minimum of 5 years of title insurance experience.
• Commercial and residential title experience required.

Preferred qualifications for the position include:

• Experience with SoftPro Select.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Pay Rate Range: $70,000 - $100,000 for salaried positions. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and location.
