Land Acquisition Manager

Responsibilities Proactively identify and generate off‑market land acquisition opportunities. Establish and maintain relationships with landowners, developers, municipalities and local stakeholders. Source greenfield and brownfield sites in line with the company’s investment strategy. Conduct initial screening and qualification of potential development sites. Prepare preliminary land acquisition assessments, including planning, technical and commercial aspects. Support financial feasibility and investment analysis of acquisition opportunities. Monitor market transactions, land values and competitor activity. Work closely with development, technical, legal and investment teams throughout the acquisition process. (in house or external) Present acquisition opportunities and recommendations to senior management and investment committees. Ensure smooth handover of acquired sites to development and project teams. Build and maintain a pipeline of land opportunities across target regions. Manage transaction timelines to ensure successful deal execution. Requirements Commercial qualification in the Real Estate sector with corresponding additional qualification or studies in Real Estate Management, MRICS or “Immobilienökonom” is a plus. Minimum of 5-10 years of experience within a logistics developer. Minimum of 5 years of experience as land acquisition manager or equivalent title. Proven track‑record incl. extensive experience in sourcing, negotiating and closing land acquisitions. Relevant work experience, ideally in a face‑paced working environment. Strong understanding of focus regional markets / permitting / zoning processes. Ideally gained experience with mapping tools or other land‑related databases already. Already own or being able to build a strong network with municipalities (economic development departments), insolvency administrators, etc. Solid, reliable network to land sources (private landowners, large corporates, municipalities, demolition companies etc.). Solid, reliable network to broker network across Germany. Lead site evaluation together with external provider (commercial / technical). Lead due diligence process together with external provider (commercial / technical). Ideally land sourcing experience in the following regions: Frankfurt, Rhein/Ruhr, Stuttgart, Munich, Hamburg. Willingness to spend most of the working time on the road / in the field. Willingness to travel across regions & periodically to Poland (Warsaw). Our offer Work in a multinational environment.
