Endoscopy Technician

Pay Range: $18.50 - $26.83 A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education. HSHS is seeking an Endoscopy Technician to join our team. The endoscopy technician is an important member of the gastroenterology team. Tasked with maintaining endoscopic equipment the endoscopy technician helps to ensure patient safety and care throughout the procedure. The technician also assists the doctor during procedures. Position Specifics: ○ Department: Endoscopy/Gastroenterology ○ Core Function: Nursing Support ○ Schedule: Full time, 40 hours/week, Day shift ○ Facility: St. Elizabeth's Hospital ○ Location: O'Fallon, IL Compensation aligned with your experience Education High School Diploma or GED-Required Experience Must have some medical experience. Certifications Licenses and Registrations Basic Life Support (BLS) is required, can be obtained after hire. Nursing Assistant certification Certified Medical Assistant or National Registry Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is preferred.
