Job Description
Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Schedule

Nights 18:45-07:15, Every other weekend required.

Assignment Details

Contract length: 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 12 hours per shift.

Requirements

• 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required.
• Must be willing to float to Medical/Surgical and care for pediatric patients.
• RN license required.
• AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS & NRP certifications required.
• Must have completed a fetal monitoring class (intermediate or advanced) within the past 24 months.
• Fully committed to obtaining PALS prior to start.
• EPIC experience highly preferred.
• 3+ years of Labor and Delivery experience in a rural hospital is preferred.
• Previous travel experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in Labor and Delivery.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Float to Medical/Surgical units as needed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and families on procedures, medications, and post-care plans.

Compliance / Notes

Nicotine-free facility. Bi-weekly pay. Orientation provided virtually. Compliance credentials due one week prior to start. On-call requirements: 2-3 shifts per month.
