Benefits Opportunities to learn and grow within the organization Excellent benefits - health, dental, vision, and life and disability insurance Quality childcare located on site HMC Wellness Center membership 401(k) plan with employer match Employee Daycare Rates Infants (6 weeks to 15 months) - $133 weekly, $27 daily Toddlers (15 months to 2 yrs) - $126 weekly, $26 daily 2 years to 3 years - $119 weekly, $25 daily 4 years to 5 years - $112 weekly, $23 daily Key Responsibilities Patient Care & Clinical Support Assist with patient intake, vital signs, and initial assessments Prepare patients for exams, procedures, or diagnostic tests Monitor patient conditions and report changes to nursing staff Perform basic clinical procedures such as wound care, splinting, or EKGs, as trained Assist on the hospital floor with patient care, answer call lights, phones, assist patients with basic cares, etc. Specimen collection including urine, stool, and sputum Act as a backup for the CNA staff and cover breaks Department Operations Transport patients to and from the ER, imaging, or other departments Restock supplies and maintain clean, organized treatment areas Assist with equipment setup and maintenance Support triage process by gathering patient information and history Safety & Compliance Follow infection control protocols and standard precautions Maintain confidentiality of patient information (HIPAA compliance) Report on unsafe conditions or incidents to nursing or supervisory staff Work closely with nurses, physicians, and other ER staff to ensure smooth patient flow Communicate patient needs, changes, and concerns promptly Notify Ancillary Staff when needed (Lab, Radiology, Respiratory) Provide support and reassurance to patients and families Qualifications Education & Licensure High school diploma or equivalent required Completion of a certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Advanced certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS) preferred or as required by facility Experience 1–2 years of experience in emergency, acute care, or patient care settings preferred Previous experience as a nursing assistant, EMT, or clinical technician is advantageous #J-18808-Ljbffr
