Corporate Accountant

About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Corporate AccountantAccountant to join our growing finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities. This position offers opportunities to learn and grow within a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and post journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded accurately.Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice entry and payment processing.Maintain fixed asset schedules and assist with depreciation calculations.Review expense reports and ensure proper coding and documentation.Assist with audits and provide supporting documentation as needed.Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing data and analysis.Continuously improve accounting processes and internal controls.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA candidate preferred).Experience: 5+ years of relevant accounting experience (public accounting or corporate accounting preferred).Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar).Strong understanding of GAAP principles.Soft Skills: Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
