About the Role
The Group Sales Manager is a sales management position with a performance quota. In this fast-paced role, you will:

• Manage a portfolio of accounts and assigned market segments.
• Develop new leads and research potential business opportunities.
• Make direct sales calls to prospective clients.
• Manage internet-based lead-generation websites.
• Handle special accounts and assigned sales responsibilities.
• Book short-term meetings and events for the hotel.
• Build lasting relationships with clients while representing the Grand Hyatt brand.
• Have Minimal travel requirements.

This is an hourly, overtime-eligible manager position with a typical 45-hour workweek. Hours worked beyond eight in a day and/or 40 in a workweek are paid at one and one-half times the regular rate, in accordance with applicable requirements.


The annual compensation range for this position is $62,958K-$71,630K. Based on the 45-hour schedule (including applicable overtime rules), the hourly range is $25.50-$29.00.


This is the pay rate that Grand Hyatt Indian Wells reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on factors such as experience and education.


This position is also eligible to participate in the sales incentive program, which provides additional earnings and will be outlined in a separate document.

Qualifications:

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
• Refined verbal and written communication skills.
• Prefer completion of a Hyatt Corporate Management Training program or equivalent training.
• Prefer 1-2 years previous hotel experience.
