CERTIFIED OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT (COTA) We are seeking a part-time Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for our busy orthopaedic practice. Under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, the COTA will provide direct care to hand and upper extremity patients, such as participating in splinting and implementation of hand therapy programs. This is a part-time position in our Baltimore location. Duties: Help patients do therapeutic activities, such as stretches and other exercises Encourage patients to complete activities and tasks Record patients’ progress, report to occupational therapists Other administrative tasks as assigned Adhere to CAO OrthoMaryland’s policies and procedures Requirements: Associate’s degree from an accredited OTA program State of Maryland OTA licensure Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) CPR certification BLS certification 1 year of orthopedic upper extremity experience preferred We Offer: Paid Time Off 401K (Eligible after 1 year of employment) Continuing Education and License Renewal Reimbursement PART-TIME OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics, OrthoMaryland division has an immediate opening for a part-time Occupational Therapist for our busy orthopaedic practice. The Occupational Therapist will provide direct patient care as they evaluate and treat surgical and non-surgical hand and upper extremity patients. This is a part-time position in our Baltimore location. Duties: Evaluate, treat, and develop care plans for a variety of upper extremity injuries and dysfunctions Exhibit strong customer service skills in daily interaction with the public, patients, staff and physicians in the performance of job duties. The Physical Therapist Assistant/PTA will provide patient care as they treat surgical and non-surgical therapy patients. This is a full-time position. Physical Therapist Assistant Duties: Provide patient care during physical therapy sessions per practice policies and procedures Exhibit strong customer service skills in daily interaction with the public, patients, staff and physicians in the performance of job duties.
