Associate Food Technologist

Location: Greater Cincinnati, OH Area

Hours : On-site, Day Time (7:00 AM - 4:00 PM)

Salary : $65,000 - $75,000

Our client, a growing food manufacturing organization, is seeking an Associate Food Technologist to join their Research & Development team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career food science professional looking to gain hands-on experience in product development, commercialization, and plant trials within a fast-paced food production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support new product development projects from concept through commercialization.
• Assist with formulation, bench-top sample development, and product testing.
• Participate in customer presentations and product demonstrations.
• Collect, analyze, and maintain accurate product and processing data.
• Support production trials, scale-ups, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Quality, and Sales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Meat Science, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of food processing, ingredients, and product development principles preferred.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and support occasional travel.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
