Senior Logistics Manager

Senior Warehouse Manager Location: Opa Locka, FL. We are immediately hiring a Senior Warehouse Manager for a brand-new Ryder location. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key leadership role in launching a new operation and shaping team culture from the ground up. Pay: $106,000.00 - $116,000.00 per year with annual bonus up to 10%+ of salary. Work schedule: 2nd Shift Monday‑Friday 5:00PM‑5:00AM. Overview Lead the Distribution Center and supervise operations, ensuring turnkey warehousing and transportation solutions. Maintain high-level interface directly with customers for timely issue resolution and high satisfaction. Responsibilities Strategically plan and execute daily operations, identifying and solving operational issues through continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives. Hire, supervise, develop, and manage performance of employees; maintain a positive employee relations environment. Communicate effectively within workgroups and other groups across the organization. Review data, implement necessary actions, and manage profit and loss statements when required. Lead a proactive safety program and enforce location safety management plans, training, and processes. Oversee equipment maintenance using checklists and observations. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills and Abilities Excellent problem‑solving and oral/written communication skills. Demonstrated leadership capabilities and ability to create professional relationships at all levels. Independent and team-oriented work style with flexibility for fast‑paced environments. Strong organizational, analytical, and computer skills. Ability to create and develop an inclusive and engaged work environment. Experience managing Profit & Loss statements (preferred). Qualifications High school diploma/GED required. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred; Master’s degree preferred. ≥5 years relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse operations. ≥5 years managing, leading, and developing direct reports. ≥3 years Profit & Loss responsibility (preferred). ≥1 year customer interaction experience (preferred).
