Clinical Nurse - Operating Room and Outpatient Surgery Center

Role Provides direct patient care in an outpatient surgery setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation according to nursing standards. Responsibilities Promote patient and family-centered care in a healing environment. Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Participate in activities ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, patients, and families. Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, cultural, spiritual, and population-specific factors. Utilize critical nursing skills to evaluate patient conditions and promote effective communication across care continuum. Qualifications & Skills RN license required. Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and Experience in operating rooms is desirable. Ability to work safely and maintain alertness in a safety-sensitive role.
