Onto Innovation strives to optimize customers’ critical path of progress by making them smarter, faster and more efficient.Job Summary & ResponsibilitiesLead the planning and implementation of multiple simultaneous projectsFacilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverablesDefine and coordinate project tasks and resource requirementsAnticipate and track operational and tactical risks; provide appropriate mitigation and execution plansDevelop full scale project plansAssemble and coordinate project staffManage project budgetSuccessfully manage Cross Functional Engineering TeamsPlan and schedule project timelinesTrack project deliverables using appropriate toolsProvide direction and support to project teamQuality assuranceConstantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholdersPresent reports defining project progress, problems and solutionsImplement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputsManage gate reviewsQualifications4-year Technical Degree5 years direct work experience in a high-tech project management capacityQualification in Project Management or equivalentProficient in project management techniques and tools such as Windchill Project Link and MS ProjectProven experience with successful cross-functional leadership, strategic planning, risk management and change managementKnowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, testing or automation is a plusKnowledge of SEMI/CE standards a plusStrong problem-solving skillsExcellent interpersonal skillsAbility to conduct research for special projectsSolid presentation skillsSound decision-making skills and ability to properly respond to high-pressure situationsOnto Innovation is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
