Overview/ Job ResponsibilitiesPosition is contingent upon contract award and funding.Entarian is seeking a Ground Systems Controllers (GSC) and Modernized Earth Terminal (MET) SME to support the US Space Force, Space Operations Command (SpOC), Space Delta 8. Space Delta 8 is the SATCOM war-fighting lead for the US Space Force and leads the operation, maintenance, and modernization of the Wideband Global SATCOM System (WGS) with points of presence located at multiple sites CONUS and OCONUS, providing the day-to-day operational support needed to manage DoD’s satellite communications capabilities. Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:Functioning as a technical expert for ground systems and the Modernized Earth Terminal (MET).Functioning as a technical expert in maintenance checklists and proper preventative maintenance procedures.Staying up to date on all technical changes for weapons systems. Disseminating to field technicians updates as required (e.g. tech bulletins, safety advisories)Salary range: $120,000.00 - $170,000.00Minimum QualificationsUS Active Top Secret (or TS/SCI) level clearance (eligible for immediate adjudication by the cognizant security authority)Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or related majorMinimum of 8 years satellite ground station experienceMinimum of 4 years MET experience as an operator and maintainer (including detailed maintenance work)Desired QualificationsMinimum 2 years WSOC experience preferred (e.g. operator, system administratorAbout UsFormed through the strategic union of Sev1Tech and ERT, Entarian is a premier provider of mission-critical engineering and technology solutions.
