We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Sr. Project Manager to join our East-Central Water Team.This position will support our growing industrial water practice and will lead planning, design, and construction projects for our local and national private/industrial water clients. You will have opportunities to support both municipal and industrial water projects with the chance to chart your own career. The applicant should be self-motivated with a long-term desire to grow personally as well as professionally. Each project will provide career opportunities while delivering transformative projects for our clients. Our private/industrial water portfolio includes data centers, manufacturing, power, mining, food and beverage, landfill leachate, and others. This position will lead teams of technical engineers and staff, help shape organizational strategy, serve as a key client representative, and deliver innovative solutions to our clients. Location is flexible with teleworking opportunities.Here's What You'll NeedBachelor's Degree in civil, chemical, environmental, mechanical engineering, or related field.At least 8 years of consulting experience with industrial water and wastewater clientsExperience delivering industrial and municipal planning and design projectsDemonstrated understanding of process mechanical designs, water and wastewater unit processes and technologies, master planning and condition assessmentsWillingness to learn Jacobs' proprietary toolsExperience mentoring and coaching other engineersExperience managing deliverables to scope, schedule and budgetIdeally, You'll Also Have:Professional Engineer license, or the ability to obtain reciprocity, in Ohio, Michigan and IndianaMaster's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or equivalent.Project Delivery experience MicroStation, AutoCAD and RevitExperience providing services during constructionWillingness to mentor junior engineersInvolvement in professional society organizations, community organization or other leadership roles with volunteer organizationsSelf- motivated, initiator; demonstrated through professional society involvements or related activitiesAdept at interpersonal relationship building, conflict resolution, and participating in diverse teams preferredOur health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
