Client Accounting AssociateThe Client Accounting Associate will support the Wealth Management business segment and the Partners and Principals responsible for providing comprehensive wealth planning, investment advisory and tax planning for individuals, families, trusts, endowments and philanthropies. We offer lifestyle management services tailored to support clients' needs which can include bill pay, wires, estate management and other custom services. These responsibilities must be conducted in accordance with industry best practices and applicable laws and regulations.Primary ResponsibilitiesPerform administrative and operational duties, such as opening client bank accounts, transferring funds, invoicing, updating client and account information, bill pay, receipt organization and filing, bank account review and reconciliationAct as administrator for accounting/bill pay software including account set up, vendor files, and statementsMaintain and improve accounts payable filing systemsClient specific reporting needs, which could include: tax documents, quarterly invoices, prize money records, compensation reports, payroll and othersDevelop written procedures on all aspects of this position, while always working to improve efficiency and minimize errorsDocument management for all bill-pay and wealth planning clients in accordance with IRS requirementsSupport other associates and provide telephone supportSkills and CompetenciesRegular interaction with third party advisors and vendorsStrong verbal and written communication skills, professional presentation, and organizational skillsStrong attention to detail, exceptional problem-solving skills, and an ability to organize and prioritize work in order to meet deadlines in a proactive manner with little supervision § Strong work ethic, interpersonal collaboration and team skills, a mustComfort with accounting/bookkeeping software importantMinimum of 3 years related work experiencePhysical RequirementsProlonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.Compensation Range:$50,000-$60,000Why Cerity PartnersOur people drive our success by working together to deliver exceptional service to our clients.
