We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio on a Contract basis. This part-time opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with year-end activities. The role offers a consistent schedule during the week and may extend beyond the initial assignment based on business needs.

Responsibilities:
• Process a steady volume of vendor invoices each week and ensure payments are completed accurately and on time.
• Manage routine disbursements such as rent, utility expenses, and employee benefit-related payments.
• Provide administrative support for audit preparation by gathering financial records and organizing requested documentation for external reviewers.
• Enter accounting information into QuickBooks Online and maintain complete, accurate records for tracking and reporting purposes.
• Assist with accounts receivable and related billing support as needed to keep transactions current.
• Perform general office tasks, including filing and maintaining organized financial and administrative documents.
• Help address increased transaction activity during special events or peak periods by prioritizing urgent accounting tasks.• Prior experience handling accounts payable in an office or accounting environment with a strong attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of accounts receivable, invoice processing, and accurate data entry practices.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks, including experience using QuickBooks Online.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to compile and review documentation for audit support.
• Comfortable working in a part-time schedule of approximately 15 to 20 hours per week.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy with minimal supervision.
• Previous administrative or clerical support experience in a finance-related setting is preferred.
