Sterile Processing Technician

This is a 13-week contract position.

5x8 Hour Shift (06:00 - 14:30), rotating weekends required.

We are seeking a dedicated Sterile Processing Technician to join our motivated team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high-quality standards in the Sterile Processing Department, specializing in Neuro, Ortho, robotics, and various service lines such as URO, general, and GYN.

Responsibilities:

• Process, sterilize, and prepare surgical instruments and trays.
• Participate in the training and onboarding of new staff within the department.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure efficient workflow and case picking.
• Adhere to aseptic techniques and safety standards in all processes.
• Float between like units as necessary to meet departmental needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sterile processing role.
• Certifications in CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA required.
• Ability to comprehend and utilize standard sterilization techniques and procedures.
