Regional Commercial Management Lead/Associate Director

As the Regional Commercial Management Lead for our GlobalTechnology Client's capital projects in the Bay Area, you will serve as thecentral point of contact for all commercial matters. This pivotal role involvesoverseeing monthly performance reporting, supporting capital planning,executing benchmarking activities, developing ROM estimates, managing stagegate budget requests, and fostering continuous improvement and innovation. Youwill also be responsible for the strategic oversight, onboarding, and trainingof both internal and external Cost Management teams, ensuring best-in-classdelivery across the project portfolio.
What You’ll Do:
Lead the preparation and presentation of theMonthly Commercial Review (MCR) for client leadership, providing comprehensiveanalysis of yearly spend forecasts, tracking variances, program changes,funding approvals, portfolio risks, and project-specific risks.
Ensure accurate forecasting and provide earlywarnings on issues impacting project and program performance to support prudentdecision-making.
Support Capital Plan/Pipeline management byacting as the regional PMO's interface with the client, updating milestones,costs, and cashflows, and ensuring data accuracy in eBuilder.
Coordinate and validate new project requests,including scope, schedule, budget, and cashflow development, ensuring regionalalignment.
Prepare detailed benchmarking reports usinghistorical client data, internal Turner & Townsend insights, and externalpublished data to inform business cases and decision-making, including the useof the Universal Estimating Template (UET).
Maintain a quarterly rolling tracker documentingproject-related savings, cost avoidance, and value-add initiatives across theregion.
Act as the eBuilder Subject Matter Expert (SME),providing training and ensuring system adoption.
Provide strategic oversight, onboarding, andquality control for internal and external Cost Management teams.
Promote best practices across regions and fostercollaboration across CBRE/T&T service lines.
What You’ll Need:
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/BEng/BArch) fromCollege or University in a technical area of study. Graduate degree preferred ina sector-related subject.
RICS chartered quantity surveyor OR minimum 8years of relevant commercial management experience.
Proven experience overseeing and leading costmanagement teams (internal/external).
Strong background in managing global ormulti-country capital portfolios, particularly corporate office fit-outprojects.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, andpresentation skills for senior client engagement.
Highly analytical, organized, proactive, anddetail-oriented with strong leadership capabilities.
Expertise across Estimating, Cost Management(full lifecycle), and Program-level Commercial Management.
Turner & Townsend carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for this position is $190,000 annually and the maximum salary for this position is $208,500 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on Turner & Townsend’s applicable benefit program.
