Mobile / Portal Engineer – Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

The Mobile / Portal Engineer will design and develop the Skylark Digital Experience Layer, enabling portal and mobile access for external users including customers, partners, veterinarians, and third parties through a unified, multi-brand digital platform. This role is responsible for delivering scalable digital experiences while ensuring seamless integration with Customer 360, orchestration platforms, and enterprise services. The position is a hands-on engineering role that is critical to the successful mobilization of the Skylark platform and the rapid delivery of digital touchpoints aligned with enterprise architecture standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build digital experience solutions supporting portal and mobile access across multiple brands.
• Develop and enhance B2C, B2B, marketplace, partner, and white-label portal experiences.
• Create mobile-enabled customer journeys using web/mobile hybrid technologies or native wrappers.
• Integrate portal and mobile platforms with Customer 360, orchestration services, and enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with architecture, product, and engineering teams to ensure alignment with platform standards.
• Deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance digital experiences.
• Support rapid development and deployment of customer-facing digital touchpoints.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience building enterprise portals, including B2C, B2B, marketplace, and partner portals.
• Experience developing white-label or multi-brand digital platforms.
• Strong understanding of mobile-enabled digital experiences and customer journeys.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms and content-driven architectures.
• Experience with identity management platforms such as Azure AD B2C or equivalent solutions.
• Knowledge of Customer 360 and enterprise service integration patterns.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to conversational UI technologies and AI-assisted user experiences.
• Experience with Customer Data Platform (CDP)-driven personalization strategies.
• Knowledge of modern digital experience and customer engagement platforms.
