Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Mail Room Clerk to join their team. As a Mail Room Clerk, you will be part of the Administrative Support team supporting office operations and mail management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Pay Range: $24.00 - $25.00

Shift: Days (01:00 PM - 03:00 PM)

What's the Job?

• Receive, sort, and scan incoming mail and packages to distribute to departments or individuals
• Collect and meter outgoing mail and packages, ensuring timely delivery to drop-off points
• Perform general administrative duties such as stocking copier paper and setting up meeting rooms
• Open, scan, and upload contracts and other documentation to electronic filing systems
• Process outgoing shipments via Fed-Ex, UPS, DHL, and USPS, including weighing mail for correct postage

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 1-3 years of previous mailroom or administrative experience
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral
• Proficiency with word processing, database entry, and familiarity with fax and scanning machines
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and spend much of the day on your feet
