RN - PCU

PCU Registered Nurse - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

3x12-hour night shifts from 19:00 to 07:00, including every other weekend.

The PCU Registered Nurse will provide specialized care to patients requiring progressive care treatment. This position involves floating between units based on the needs of the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
• Perform patient assessments and document findings accurately in the electronic health record.
• Assist in the management of patients with various diagnoses including congestive heart failure and acute respiratory failure.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting.
• Current, valid Registered Nurse license required.
• Certifications in ACLS and BLS required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is necessary.
