Program Manager Opportunity

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Program Manager for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role is responsible for overseeing a series of high-complexity projects across multiple departments and business units. The ideal candidate will assess and advise on improving current program and project management processes, mentor other project managers, and work closely with senior management to deliver on requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee a series of projects of high complexity across multiple departments and business units
• Assess and advise on improving process and methodologies of current program and project management
• Develop strategies, readiness assessments, training, and communications
• Work with project managers to identify and eliminate redundancies and duplications of efforts
• Act as a mentor to project managers and motivate them to build cooperative work teams
• Identify, develop, and direct team members' strengths, technological resources and organizational processes to build teams
• Deliver requirements to senior management
• Accurately estimate costs and develop and implement project plans within budgetary guidelines

Requirements:

• 8+ years of relevant experience
• 4-year degree or equivalent work experience
• Extensive program management experience and PMP certification
• Advanced in the use of project management software and concepts
• Comprehensive knowledge of business unit's functions
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Developer, Extreme Programming, Scrum Master)
• Strong analytical, problem solving, quality management, and organizational skills
• Comprehensive understanding of project management theory and team dynamics
• Proven ability to effectively collaborate with others, initiate action and adapt to change
• Proven ability to make tough decisions and accept challenging assignments
• Strong communication skills to work with senior management

Pay range: $52.54 - $60.54 per hour
